Family Law Mediation

Solange McDaniel is a Rule 31 Listed Family Law Mediator

We provide mediation services for a variety of disputes, including but not limited to:

Family Mediation: Provides a forum to helps families resolve issues like divorce, custody, child support and more through guided discussions, allowing them to reach agreements without going to court. Mediation is not optional in Tennessee divorce and/or custody cases, it is required in all cases with few exceptions.

Confidential: One of the reasons mediation is so successful is that what happens at mediation is kept confidential. The mediator cannot tell the Judge anything except whether or not the parties mediated in good faith and whether or not the process resulted in settlement.

Divorce: The mediator's role in the divorce settlement process includes assisting the parties in identifying issues, reducing obstacles to communication, maximizing the exploration of alternatives, and helping the parties reach voluntary agreements.

Child Custody: Mediation can help parents come to an agreement on a parenting plan for the child(ren) including visitation schedules, holiday schedules, decision making, child support and more. As a parent you know your child(ren) best and at mediation you can work to develop a plan that is in your child(ren)'s best interest.
